Starting to come together

When we started to devise our play we used the song "Vote Me" by blondie. We used a song to alienate the audience and let them know its a play. Oh and because it was funny. We then devised "social scenes" which were stylised representations of real life situations for example the "couple" scene. We used our bodies to create the scenery, I was a clock, Katie a tv etc... Whilst Finn and Cassie used us as though we were real. Using actors as props further expresses to the audience that they are watching a play.
